We’ve just been awarded our next grant allocation from Locality, the government funding body for community projects such as ours. The grant of just over £4,000 covers consultancy fees (professional town planning, heritage and landscape advice), focus group expenses including hire of the village hall, the cost of leaflets and suchlike. We hope to get research work and the results of community group work done by the end of March, leading to another public event to display what we’ve done so far and invite further comment. This will be 12 months following the official project launch last April.
