Work started on mobile phone mast?

Waldon has confirmed that work is starting on the mobile phone mast at Downmore Farm, Old Buckenham. It’s for O2 service users and it remains to be seen whether the signal is adequate in New Buckenham for not only mobile phones but smart meters and the like. Time will tell!

Research into the village’s bat population continues, highlighted today by an article in the Eastern Daily Press. No less than ten species of bat have been identified, including four on the Great Britain Mammals IUCN red list.
